We are now going to set up perform a swiped transaction, using the Pocket Merchant.

Enter the amount, in this example $56.85 Then press "Accept"

 

Indicating a good card read, the screen will immediately change to a calculator style keypad so you can easily enter the amount to charge the credit card.

Now, you can see all of the credit card transaction.  If you wish to enter a tip, tap the word "Tip:" on the screen, and another calculator pad will open up. Your tip will be added to the previously entered amount, and shown in "Total:"

 

Now, you can see all of the credit card transaction.  

Additionally you can enter a TIP, or an INV (Invoice number). If you wish to enter a tip, tap the word "Tip:" on the screen, and another calculator pad will open up. 

Also, if a Tax % is entered in your Options, your TAX will be calculated automatically!

Once signed, press "Send"  The little key in the button indicates that this is an encrypted transmission, and is totally safe.

 

Of course, you may not want to hand over your expensive PDA to a stranger.. So the screen can automatically flip over for the customer to sign.  Now, just hold out the PDA, and hand the customer the stylus!  Just like UPS.  Then Press OK to bring the screen back to normal.

Once signed, press "CHARGE"  This is an encrypted transmission, and is totally safe.

After a few seconds, you will receive your credit card approval! Tap the "Print" button.

Your receipt will print automatically, or you can tell the system to print additional receipts manually.

 

That's All it takes - Repeat until wealthy!
